Sutton United's ground is now the 360 Engage Stadium. First FA Cup tie under the new name: Truro City on Saturday 17 October at 3pm, adult tickets £13.
Sutton United’s home on Gander Green Lane has a new name: the 360 Engage Stadium. The club announced the naming rights deal on Monday 5 October (Sutton United).
The ground was the VBS Community Stadium under its last sponsor, Vulcan Building Services. The club’s own FA Cup preview still uses that name for last season’s meeting with Truro City (Sutton United).
Who 360 Engage is
360 Engage sells software that helps football clubs identify and keep in touch with their supporters. The club calls it “the first fan intelligence platform” and says Sutton is the first club to back it.
The club did not say how long the deal runs or what it is worth. It called it “a significant commercial agreement”. Under the deal, 360 Engage branding will appear around the stadium and across the club’s matchday, digital and community channels.
Jack Daly, Sutton United’s chief revenue officer, said: “Gander Green Lane is at the heart of Sutton United and has been home to so many important moments in the Club’s history. Finding the right partner to put their name alongside our stadium was therefore incredibly important to us.”
Wil Block of 360 Engage said: “We look forward to working with the club, its supporters and local businesses.”
The next two home games
The new name gets its first big outing in the FA Cup. Sutton host Truro City in the fourth qualifying round on Saturday 17 October, kick-off 3pm (match page).
Truro were relegated to National League South last season. Sutton beat them 3-0 at Gander Green Lane in that campaign and won 3-2 in Cornwall. The two clubs also met in the FA Cup in 2016, when a late Craig Dundas goal won it for Sutton (Sutton United).
Before that, Sutton play West Bromwich Albion in the National League Cup on Tuesday 13 October at 7pm (match page).
